First of all I would like to start of by saying, what a truly fantastic photo. The right exposure was used to give the waves a somewhat, soft feel. Like you mentioned, the lighting was perfect for the shot, it ads such a warm texture to the photo, complimented by the wash onto the rocks. The angle of the photo is very well placed, it gives the viewer a good surrounding feeling on the immediate right hand side of the photo, then sweeps into a freedom stance of the vast ocean. The giant rocks and the cliff/cave seem as though they were placed there just for the shot, with an unearthly natural feel.
